Headquartered in Heckmondwike, it supplies a broad range of outdoor and casual apparel across the UK via physical stores, major retail partnerships and online channels. To support this growth and ensure decisions are backed by robust financial insight, TOG24 is seeking a commercially minded Finance Director. This is a key leadership role with both operational and strategic scope. The incoming FD will lead the finance function, taking responsibility for planning, forecasting, reporting and control, whilst also playing an active role in broader business decisions.
You will work closely with the owners and senior leadership team to bring greater clarity to performance, guide investment decisions, and help prioritise growth opportunities. Your remit will extend beyond core finance, with meaningful involvement in areas such as stock, data, systems, sourcing, and operational efficiency. The focus is on embedding strong financial thinking across the business; without losing pace or entrepreneurial agility.
The successful candidate will combine technical competence with sound judgement and commercial instinct. You’ll be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, influencing across departments, and improving how decisions are made. There’s a loyal and capable team already in place — your job is to enhance visibility, embed discipline, and ensure finance adds value at every level.
Applicants must be qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with experience in a senior finance role within a fast-paced environment. You’ll be comfortable building trust, influencing change, and supporting owner-managers as they scale and evolve the business.
