This entrepreneurially run, motor trade, business needs a strong and reasonably self-sufficient accountant to take control of their finances, as they continue to grow.

The operation is run on sales performance and is growing fast. They realise however, that better financial insight and control is required to maintain their current trajectory and profitability.

Better control and visibility of the numbers will allow the owners and sales team to evaluate the efficiency and profitability of their sales process across the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the business' evolution in the coming years by evolving the controls environment and automating wherever necessary. It is hoped this person will grow towards the full Finance Director role within a number of years.

Preference will be given to candidates from a motor-trade / dealership background or those who can demonstrate a clear understanding of the industry from a related experience.

Although you will have a small and loyal team, this role needs someone who is keen and willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in the basics of the accounting cycle to deliver what's required and lead / train by example.

You will enjoy working in a fast moving and enjoyable environment. The business is modern and flexible in their outlook.

Candidates must be ACCA, ACMA or ICAEW / ICAS accredited.
